Italtrans spa is a Italian company with headquarters in Calcinate (BG). Founded in 1985 as a transport company for the food industry, expanding in the years following its services: by the early 2000s, an important acceleration in the plane of the infrastructure and partnership lays the groundwork for to distinguish it up to our days as one of the primary player for integrated logistics, ranging from the sector of RETAIL and cold chain to that of ecommerce, to meet the new needs of the distribution moderna. Today Italtrans is a reality with more than 1,250 employees, a fleet of approximately 900 vehicles available to its customers and logistics centers distributed all over Italy for a total surface area of almost a million square meters. The journey undertaken by the Italtrans is full of investment aimed at improving the efficiency of the entire chain of transport and logistics. In the first case, thanks to eco-friendly vehicles that aim at ensuring a greater number of deliveries on a few more miles and with specific vehicles (including electric) for distribution in the cities. In the second case with avant-garde technologies of automation in warehouses, high-bay storage-intensive, mini-load for the management of single-neck, up to the most recent mobile robots for the beverage with a high rotation. Italtrans is also active in a concrete way in the context of social responsibility, with a transparent reporting shared with its stakeholders through the annual sustainability report. A story which is always in evolution, which tells of a vision and entrepreneurial spirit that never stops, and anticipates the customer's every need.
